What it teaches

The three AZ-900 domains in Microsoft’s skills outline (as of July 20, 2026): cloud concepts (shared responsibility, cloud models, CapEx vs OpEx, scaling, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS), Azure architecture and services (regions, availability zones, region pairs, resource groups, subscriptions, management groups, VMs, scale sets, containers, Functions, App Service, VPN, ExpressRoute, DNS, storage tiers and redundancy, MFA and single sign-on, Conditional Access, RBAC, Zero Trust) and management and governance (cost tools, tags, Azure Policy, resource locks, Purview, ARM templates, Arc, Advisor, Service Health, Monitor). The AI asks 3 questions plus a 4-question check, then teaches each domain with a short card and drills exam-style questions one at a time, coming back to misses until each domain passes, then a 20-question final in the exam’s proportions.

Practice questions written from Microsoft Learn; not real exam questions; not affiliated with Microsoft.

How long

59 questions. About 35-80 rounds plus a 20-question final: 2-3 sessions (AI-simulated students needed 35 and 78 rounds; not timed with a real student). The tutor gives a one-line save code at the end of each session.

The modules

4 modules, drilled one item at a time.

  1. M0

How the AZ-900 exam works (read first)

    How the exam works

  2. M1

Describe cloud concepts (25-30% of the exam)

    Cloud concepts questions

  3. M2

Describe Azure architecture and services (35-40% of the exam)

    Azure architecture and services questions

  4. M3

Describe Azure management and governance (30-35% of the exam)

    Management and governance questions

Before it teaches, it asks

  1. 1
When is your exam (a date, roughly, or not booked yet)? Have you used Azure or another cloud before, at work or on your own?
  2. 2
Code must run only when a message arrives, and the company wants to pay only for the CPU time while it runs, with no virtual machines or containers kept running. Which service fits?
  3. 3
A team moves its servers to the cloud as they are (lift-and-shift) and wants to keep control of the operating systems. Which cloud service type fits?

Sourced
Every key and every reason for every option is built from a Microsoft Learn training unit (the official AZ-900 learning path) or the official study guide, read 2026-10-10. 216 distinct quotes matched word for word on the 42 live pages (re-checked 2026-10-11). Of the 236 reason lines, 11 are short plain summaries with no quote and 30 add a short plain remark to a quote. A script checks that each quote sits in an item that cites its page, every option has a reason, the skill areas are the outline’s and no question contains its answer. A planted-error test (7 errors) was caught.
Current facts that old courses get wrong
The TCO calculator “has been retired”; networking is its own Learn module now.
Honest limits
Practice questions only; no claim about how many questions the real exam has or how it’s scored beyond the published 700 pass mark. No prices, SLA percentages or region counts.
Not in it yet
Migration and file-movement tools, external identities, defense in depth, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, storage account types, and, as correct answers, high availability, reliability, predictability, virtual networks, public and private endpoints and passwordless sign-in (they appear only as wrong options). The Service Trust Portal item comes from a Learn unit that is not in the July 20, 2026 outline; Copilot in Azure and Bicep are not in the outline either.
